Yearly Schedule

January—This is when winter trim is started. All crapes myrtles, pampas/decorative grasses, and perennials should be trimmed now. Also a good time to trim oleanders. The first application of pre-emergent weed control is put down as well. This time of year is good to do pine straw as well. Mowing is done one time this month.

February—Continuing winter trim. It is usually finished in February. The second agronomic application is put down as well, which includes insect control.. Mowing is done one time this month.

March—Spring trim can be started as early as March. Mowing is done bi-weekly. 

​

April—Continuing spring trim. Mowing is done bi-weekly. Fertilizer usually goes down around the end of April

​

May—Continuing with any spring trimming that is left. Mowing continues bi-weekly. Depending on weather/temperature, fertilizer may be put down in May instead of April. Each year is different. 

​

June—Starting summer trim. This is not always necessary. Summer trim is optional. Summer fertilizer can be put down anywhere as early as June or as late as July. Mowing starts weekly schedule for summer.

July—Contuining summer trim. Fertilizer if applicable. 

​

August—Continuing summer trim and weekly mowing. 

​

September—Continuing and finishing summer trim. Fall fertilizer is put down at end of September or beginning of October. 

​

October—Begin fall trim. Fall fertilizer usually done in October. Mowing goes back to bi-weekly schedule for the rest of the year. 

​

November—Continuing fall trim. 6th application is put down at this time, which includes insect control. 

​

December—Finishing up any fall trimming that is left. &th application put down in December.
